v8.4.2 Update Details

▶ Jujutsu Kaisen Collab! Meet the Jujutsu Sorcerers on Sky Island
- Collab Period: After the v8.4.2 update on Jul. 30th - Oct. 1st 7:59am PDT

▶ Jujutsu Kaisen Collaboration Characters: [Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Fugisaki, Satoru Gojo, and Ryomen Sukuna]
※ The Collab Characters cannot be used in SWC2024 Regional Preliminaries, China Qualification Match, or Open Qualifier.
- Collab Characters: [Ryomen Sukuna, Satoru Gojo, Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki]
- World Arena: The Collab Characters can be used in World Arena right after the v8.4.2 update, but not in SWC2024 preliminaries. They can be used from the Europe Cup on Sep. 21st.
▶ Collab Special! Jujutsu High School
- Event Period: After the v8.4.2 update on Jul. 30th - Oct. 1st 7:59am PDT
: Enter Jujutsu High School that appears on the right side of Sky Island to carry out Sorcerer Quests and play a new minigame, Boss Rush.
- What's [Boss Rush]?
① Summoners War bosses emerge consecutively and you must clear one by one.
② You will form a party of 5 Monsters to enter 10 waves featuring 10 bosses.
③ You can earn a weekly reward by clearing all 10 bosses from Wave 1 to Wave 10.
④ Afterward, starting from Wave 11, the difficulty will increase, and you can continue to challenge in 10-wave increments.
⑤ You can enjoy various ranking competitions through server rankings, friend/guild member rankings, and guild rankings based on the maximum cleared waves.
* Guild rankings are registered based on the combined records of the top 15 members of the guild.
* Boss Rush will be held over 9 weeks, with a new lineup of 10 bosses each week. Boss Rush is reset on Mondays.
- [Boss Rush] Clear Reward
Weekly Reward: You can obtain the following weekly rewards when you clear 10 bosses of Wave 1 - 10 from each week.
Repeat Reward: After clearing Wave 10, you will earn 3 Mystical Scrolls for every additional set of 10 waves cleared.
First Reward: You will earn 50,000 Mana Stones for every wave you clear for the first time. (E.g. 500,000 Mana Stones for clearing Wave 1 to 10)
- What is [Sorcerer Quest]?
- You can receive up to 5 quests at once.
- Upon clearing a quest, the next one becomes available after 8 hours. You can obtain rewards according to the quests cleared.
- Each quest gives 5 Cursed Crystals as a reward with one of the currencies as a bonus reward.
▶ Collab Exclusive Content: [Event Dungeon]
- Event Schedule: After the v8.4.2 update on Jul. 30th - Sep. 29th 11:59pm (server time)
- The Event Dungeon consists of Normal / Hard / Hell difficulties, and the characters from Jujutsu Kaisen will appear as bosses.
- The Event Dungeon is available for a week and resets on Mondays.
- You can obtain special rewards by clearing the boss of each difficulty.
- You can obtain the following weekly rewards for clearing the boss of Hell difficulty.
- Boss Rush and Event Dungeon Schedule
: Event Period: After the v8.4.2 update on Jul. 30th - Sep. 29th 11:59pm (server time)
: The Event Dungeon and Boss Rush will be held for 9 weeks. Except for Week 1 when the collaboration is updated on a Tuesday, they will start on Mondays and end on Sundays.
▶ Collab Characters in the August Trial of Ascension
- Collab Characters will appear on every 10th floor in the [Normal/Hard Difficulties] except for 100F.
- You will get [Jujutsu Kaisen Scroll x1] that only summons default 4-5★ Collab Characters as a 50F (Normal) clear reward instead of the current [Mystical Scroll x2] reward. (Trial of Ascension resets on Aug. 14th 10pm PDT)
※ The [Jujutsu Kaisen Scroll x1] reward for clearing 50F (Normal) is also applied to the Trial of Ascension Pass product.
▶ Arena Rival: Master X
- Event Schedule: After the v8.4.2 update on Jul. 30th - Oct. 1st 7:59am PDT
: Challenge Master X who uses a team of Collab Characters only! You can battle against Master X once a day, and each day resets at 12am (server time).
: You will earn 10 Cursed Crystals as a win reward.
※ Master X appears in the [Arena > Rival] menu after you clear a prerequisite quest via the quest icon located at the left of the main menu.
◈ Summon the Collab Characters!
- Collab Characters can be summoned via the following methods.
* Collab Characters are summoned in their awakened forms.
* [Blessing of Summon & Splendid Blessing of Summon] are applied to the Collab Characters as well.

■ What's the [Jujutsu Kaisen Scroll]?
- It’s an exclusive scroll that only summons Jujutsu Kaisen Collab Characters. One default 4-5★ Jujutsu Kaisen Collab Character with one attribute (Fire/ Water/ Wind/ Light/ Dark) will be summoned.
- Collab Characters will be summoned in their awakened forms. Dark Ryomen Sukuna that can be obtained through a collab event will not be summoned.
- [Blessing of Summon & Splendid Blessing of Summon] are not applied to Jujutsu Kaisen Scrolls.
▶ [SP Summon] for Jujutsu Kaisen Collab Characters
- Event Schedule: After the v8.4.2 update on Jul. 30th - Oct. 1st 7:59am PDT
- What's the [Special Summon]?
: [SP Summon] is a summon with a slightly higher summon rate than other summons for the Jujutsu Kaisen Collab Characters.
: [SP Summon] can be performed in all summons except Ancient Transcendence Scroll, 10-Year Transcendence Scroll, 10-Year Special Scroll, Engraved Scroll, Monster Piece Summon, Guild Summon, SWC Scroll, and other scrolls where you have to select a summon list. The in-game currencies, scrolls, and blessings used will be the same.
: The Collab Characters can be summoned with a fixed chance through a normal [Summon] as well.
▶ Jujutsu Kaisen Emojis
- These 10 new emojis can be used in chat and World Arena battles.
- 6 emojis are provided as collab special event rewards. 4 emojis can be obtained as a bonus reward for purchasing a collab package available after the v8.4.2 update.
▶ World Arena 2vs2 Team Battle
- Schedule: Aug. 5th 12am - Aug. 18th 8am PDT
- The related achievements have been reset and can be completed again. Complete the achievements and obtain various rewards.

▶ Media Icon Changed to SWC Icon
- NEW or LIVE notifications will appear when there is a new video or SWC livestream available.
▶ Some Devilmon/Rainbowmon/Angelmon's quantities are now indicated using "x." (E.g. Devilmon x1)
▶ [Spiritual Realm] Boss Skill Description Modified
▶ Game Error Fixes
- Fixed an error where a 30% damage reduction effect against Wind Attribute was applied to Dark Death Knight's [Control (Passive)].
- [Trial of Ascension] Fixed an issue where the Attack Bar absorption effect of Lyrith's Incarnation of Greed was considered a hit against some Monsters.
- [Monster Info > Debate] Fixed an issue where the Monster info screen would not respond when you tap the name of the Summoner that left a comment.
