UPDATE Developer's Preview #3: 11th Anniversary Update IIGreetings from the Summoners War Dev Team!We're back with another Developer's Preview to discuss the second part of the 11th Anniversary Update.For our team, reading all the diverse opinions from Summoners after posting dev-related notices is one of our great joys.The Siege Battle revamp from the previous Developer’s Preview has been applied starting Season 18 on Mar. 31.We hope you enjoy the newly updated Siege Battle and look forward to hearing your valuable feedback.Our team is always striving to make Summoners War a more enjoyable and convenient game based on your feedback.Your voices always motivate us, so please continue to share your thoughts.Let's dive into the topics we have prepared today.<New Fire/ Water/ Wind Attribute Bosses in Rift Raid>* Rift Raid bosses of Fire, Water, and Wind Attributes dropping specific types of Grindstones will be added to make Grindstone farming more efficient.* We are reviewing the bosses’ skill sets to create a meaningful challenge without making team building for boss raids overly burdensome.* The existing Chaos Beast Khi'zar Kha'jul will remain as a neutral attribute raid boss that drops all Grindstones.* Below is an overview of the skills and rewards for each boss. Other than the changes in the [Rageful Roar] skill seen below, the rest of the skills will remain the same as the Chaos Beast.<Grindstone and Gem Usability Improvement>* We plan to improve the usability of Grindstones and Gems by retaining amplified values of a grinded sub property even when a Gem is used on the sub property.Let’s say a Rune has a SPD +7 sub property obtained through Gem conversion.After amplifying it with a SPD +5 Grindstone, the sub property becomes SPD +12.If you then use a SPD Legend Gem to convert it to SPD +10:As-is: The grinded value is removed, resulting in SPD +10.To-be: The grinded value remains, resulting in SPD +15 (Gem +10, Grindstone +5).* Currently, using a Gem of the same sub property resets the amplified value, forcing you to rely on Gems to get a satisfactory result before using a Grindstone.With this change, you can apply Grindstones first without worrying about losing the amplified value.* However, using a Gem of a different sub property will still remove the amplified sub property and grant a new sub property.* The addition of Attribute Raid Bosses and the usability improvements for Grindstones and Gems are scheduled for release in the late April update.<Early April Update Schedule> * The game will be updated to v8.6.9 on Apr. 12 to introduce [Arena & Arena Interserver Battle revamp], [Monster & Arena background art renewal], and [11th anniversary events] discussed in the previous Developer's Preview. * We would also like to share the details on the new Arena rank requirements below as many Summoners were keen to see how the Arena league restructuring will pan out.<Siege Battle Rune Separation Update Plan>* We are actively working to resolve some key issues related to the Siege Battle Rune separation.* We expect to introduce this update by the end of May.That concludes today's Developer's Preview!We will continue striving to make Summoners War more enjoyable and convenient.If you have any questions or feedback regarding the update plans, please don't hesitate to share them.We sincerely hope the improvements and system refinements prepared for the 11th anniversary will further enhance your gameplay experience.We appreciate your continued love and support, and please look forward to more exciting updates!
