We are excited to announce that registration for the <Summoners War: World Arena Championship 2025> begins soon!
Please read below for more info on the SWC2025 Tournament.
[SWC2025 Player Qualification Criteria and Tournament Details]
1. Player Qualification Criteria
Applicants are selected based on the World Arena Season 32 and 33 rankings to compete in the PRELIMINARIES.
※ Players are selected based on their ranking for each season, not their integrated ranking for Seasons 32 and 33.
※ Summoners who have not played in Season 32 but wish to compete in the SWC2025 are advised to participate in the ongoing Season 33.

Jun. 4, 7:00 PM - Jun. 30, 12:00 AM PDT
※ Please enter the event page in the game to register.
3. Tournament Schedule and Flow
■ Preliminaries Player Selection (Early July to mid-July)
- Players are selected by region based on the World Arena Season 32 and 33 rankings.
※ The number of players selected for each region varies. Please check below for the selection details by region.

① The selected 16 players are assigned to two groups to compete in the quarterfinals on Day 1 and Day 2.
Winners of the quarterfinals advance to the upper bracket.
The 4 winners of the upper bracket finals advance to the REGIONAL CUP.
② Players who lose in the quarterfinals will compete again in the lower bracket.
Players who win in the lower bracket will face those who lose in the upper bracket.
The 4 winners of the lower bracket finals advance to the REGIONAL CUP.

- Each region selects 8 players to compete in the PRELIMINARIES based on the season rankings.

① The 8 players selected in each region play in the quarterfinals on Day 1.
Players who win in the quarterfinals on Day 1 advance to the upper bracket.
The winner of the upper bracket finals advances to the REGIONAL CUP.
② Players who lose on Day 1 will compete in the lower bracket on Day 2.
The winner of the lower bracket finals advances to the REGIONAL CUP.
※ Players are assigned to PRELIMINARIES brackets based on their season rankings.
■ OPEN QUALIFIER - FRANCE
- Same as the SWC2024, one WORLD FINALS ticket is granted as an advantage to the WORLD FINALS host region,
and an OPEN QUALIFIER is held to determine the advancing player.
- The OPEN QUALIFIER - FRANCE selects 8 players based on the Season 32 and 33 rankings among those
who are French nationals to compete in the quarterfinals played in a BO5 format under a single-elimination tournament.
- The winner of the OPEN QUALIFIER advances to the WORLD FINALS.
Players eliminated in the OPEN QUALIFIER may participate again in the REGIONAL PRELIMINARIES
of the corresponding region if their World Arena Season rankings meet the qualification criteria.
■ CHINA QUALIFIER
- The format of the CHINA QUALIFIER has been revamped to offer more players the opportunity to participate.
Unlike the previous double-elimination quarterfinals format, it will implement a PRELIMINARIES > MAIN ROUND system.
1) CHINA QUALIFIER PRELIMINARIES
- The CHINA QUALIFIER PRELIMINARIES selects 16 players based on the Season 32 and 33 rankings
among those residing in mainland China to determine the players advancing to the MAIN ROUND.
- A total of 8 players, consisting of 2 winners of the upper bracket (Seed 1) and 2 winners of the lower bracket (Seed 2) from each day, advance to the MAIN ROUND.
- All matches are played in a BO5 format under a double-elimination tournament.

The 2 winners of the upper brackets on each day advance to the CHINA QUALIFIER MAIN ROUND.

2) CHINA QUALIFIER MAIN ROUND
- The CHINA QUALIFIER MAIN ROUND is played in a BO5 format under a single-elimination quarterfinals tournament,
and the winner and runner-up advance to the WORLD FINALS.
The CHINA QUALIFIER MAIN ROUND will be held in Hangzhou, China, on Sep. 5 PDT and streamed in multiple languages.
※ A private seeding match will be held between the winner of the CHINA QUALIFIER and
the winner of the OPEN QUALIFIER - FRANCE to determine their seeding for the WORLD FINALS.
■ REGIONAL CUPS
- All REGIONAL CUPS are played in a BO5 format under a single-elimination quarterfinals tournament.
- All brackets are formed by drawing lots, and the bracket draw videos will be made publicly available to ensure fairness.
- The winner, runner-up, and 3rd place player of each cup will advance to the WORLD FINALS held in Paris, France.
※ The schedule and location of the REGIONAL CUPS may change. Any change will be announced in a separate notice.

■ WORLD FINALS
- The following players will compete in the SWC2025 WORLD FINALS.
- The SWC2025 WORLD FINALS held in Paris, France will be a single-elimination tournament.
All matches are played in a BO5 format, except for the final, which is played in a BO7 format.
